At the Budget in March 2011 the Government announced that from 1st October 2011 beers with an ABV of 2.8% or below would incur only half the rate of excise duty. Samuel Smiths have decided to reduce their ABV on Dark Mild, Light Mild and Yorkshire Bitter. This is good news for our Members and Guests, because it means that your Pint of Yorkshire is reduced.
