Samuel Smiths Yorkshire
At the Budget in March 2011 the Government announced that from 1st October 2011 beers with an ABV of 2.8% or below would incur only half the rate of excise duty. Samuel Smiths have decided to reduce their ABV on Dark Mild, Light Mild and Yorkshire Bitter. This is good news for our Members and Guests, because it means that your Pint of Yorkshire is reduced. Selling at £1.30 per pint from 1st November.




It is both the oldest brewery in Yorkshire and the only surviving independent brewery in Tadcaster. .The smallest of the three modern-day Tadcaster breweries Sam Smiths is one of the few remaining British breweries to employ the traditional system in the production of its beers.
