All we ask is that you at least inform the bar that you intend to join us. Then we can put on extra staff to accommodate your party.

Trial Run…

Due to Members request the Committee have agreed to trial All Day Opening on Mondays. The new trial will begin on 6th September and will run for two consecutive months. After which, a decision will be made to make the opening permanent or revert back to original hours.

Half Year AGM

As previously mentioned in August’s Newsletter. The Club’s financial accounts have been passed to a new accountancey firm. Following the sad and sudden death of our long standing Accountant and Friend Mr Roy Tennant. Our new accountants, Brosnans, are making every effort to produce half yealry figures for the membership.

You will be informed as the situation develops, we ask that patience can be awarded in such a matter. I can also assure all members that the Club is fianncially solvent and doing extremley well. The elected Committee are doing their best, for you! I can also assure all members, our Club will not be going the way other Clubs appear to go – Down Hill!

Token of thanks, Club & Committee

A small informal gathering on Monday 23rd October, farewell drink to Fr T Wiley. The Committee took this quiet opportunity to present to Fr Wiley with a token of thanks on behalf of the Club and its Members. An engraved crystal bowl displaying his name, resting on a display stand with a personalised engraved message from the Club.

Fr T Wiley will be missed I’m sure by many, including Batley IDLC. All the best to your Fr!

Nash 49th Edition of our Local read.

Our weekly dancing tutors perform exclusively for the Nash. Showing their talent at the annual Batley Live show, Saturday 31 July. The Irish Duo known as ‘Celtic Beat’ did the Club proud.

Although they didn’t perform in the talent show, (too good for that) they gave other competitors a clear run for their money!

Thanks again girls. You did the Club proud.

Anyone interested in learning to Irish Dance. Then look no further. Lessons are at our Club every Monday evening from 7.00pm til 8.oopm. If you fancy giving it a go, then come on down. Advanced classes take place after, 8.00pm til 9.00pm.
